Able has been serving consumers in Bucks, Montgomery and select areas
of Chester County for over 8 years. With a fleet of seven delivery and
service vehicles, Able is committed to providing Energy Cooperative
members with the low prices, high quality and excellent service that
you’ve come to expect.

Service contracts:
All
Energy Cooperative members will receive $10 off the cost
of a service contract. If you choose a service contract, you must purchase
all of your oil for the heating season from our supplier. Able
offers two different plans (the prices below include the $10
discount):
Common Sense Plan: $229.00
Complete Coverage Plan: $339.00
The differences between plans are the price for repairs (flat rate
discount for parts and labor under the Common Sense Plan and no charge for
parts and labor under the Complete Coverage Plan) and expanded service
hours (Monday - Friday, 8AM to 8PM under the Common Sense Plan, full 24/7
hours under the Complete Coverage Plan).
Prior to being signed up for any service contract Able will inspect your burner. If it does not meet Able's standards
for coverage by service contract, you will be charged $139.95 for a
cleaning only (plus cost of parts). If it does meet Able’s
standards, you will be given your choice of the available service plans.
Members who do not choose a service contract may still contact Able for
service at any time during the year. The charge for service is $20/quarter
hour. Members who do not have a service plan and call for emergency
service will be charged a $60 flat fee plus $20/quarter hour. For
emergency service after 5 pm or on weekends, members without a service
contract will be charged a $80 flat fee plus $40/quarter hour. For
emergency service on holidays, members without a service contract will be
charged a $120 flat fee plus $60/quarter hour. If your service contract
covers the part that needs repair, there will be no service call charge.
If the repaired object is not covered under your service contract, you
will pay for parts and labor; there will be no service call charge.

October 15 – April 15 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
April 14 – October 14 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Emergency Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week between
October 15 and April 15
Delivery Options:
Minimum delivery is 150 gallons. Regular deliveries are made
Monday-Friday.
Will call – deliveries will be made within 48 hours of member calling for
delivery.
Automatic – based on past usage, Able will decide when you need a
delivery.
Payment Options:
C.O.D. - A payment procedure whereby the member is expected to pay for
services upon the delivery of oil or other goods. Supplier may
request credit card to be held on file as security.
Credit – upon credit check and approval by Able, members have
5 days (Net 5) to
pay invoices for deliveries. Supplier may request credit card to be
held on file as security.
Budget – A payment procedure whereby the member, in anticipation of using
a specific amount of home heating oil over a specified number of months
pays for this product by making 10 averaged monthly payments.
The insurance fee for this program is $69.00. Payments are
due on the 15th of every month.
Credit card – Members may choose to have deliveries or budget payments
automatically charged to a credit card. Able accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover
and American Express. (an additional fee may apply to this option)
