Val Jones
Representing: At-large
Val Jones is a philanthropy consultant,
working on both the "giving" and "getting" sides of philanthropy.
She works with clients on
board development, strategic planning, sponsorship, major gift fundraising,
development assessments and plans, feasibility studies and capital
campaigns. Prior to founding her own firm, Jones served as Director of
Development for Freedom Theatre, the largest African-American Theatre in the
U.S.
Val is
a recipient of The William
Donaldson Award for Community Service and an alumnus of Leadership, Inc.
She
earned her B.A. in anthropology with a minor in art from Hamilton College.
