Peter Shaw
Representing: Class B Residential Members
Peter Shaw has served on The
Energy Cooperative Board since November 2000. Shaw leads the e-business and
customer care consulting practices within the Customer Strategies Group at Navigant Consulting. Navigant Consulting is a leading management consultancy
in the energy and utilities industry. Navigant’s regional office is located
in Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Shaw began his energy career as a Project Director for Habitat for Humanity
in Peru. There he field-tested passive solar building design and solar water
heating in the highland Andes. Shaw has consulted to utilities for the past
10 years and has led Navigant’s e-business practice for the past two years.
In his career as a consultant, Shaw advises energy companies on corporate
planning, e-business strategy and customer care operations. He has worked
with leading utilities and non-utility energy suppliers in preparing
business plans and launch strategies for competing in competitive energy
markets, like in Pennsylvania.
